Matt Witten, D.M.A. - Contemporary Musican: Blog

Matt will be performing all over Rochester in the fall of 2015. He is giving the Rochester premiere of Stockhausen's "Himmels-Tur" at the Rochester 2015 Fringe Festival on September 20 at 8 PM and September 24 at 7:00 PM. Both shows are in the Lyric Theatre (formerly, the Rochester Christian Scientist Church, 440 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607). This building is a historic site and was famously George Eastman's inspiration for the design of the Eastman Theatre. He hired Edwin S Gordon after viewing his work on the church! Matt can also be heard at the Fringe Festival with singer/songwrite/guitarist master, Matthew Cochrane. The Matthew Cochran Trio includes Bass phenom, Emiliano Lasansky and Matt Witten on drums. They can be heard on September 19, 20 and 26 at 1:00 PM at the Rochester School for the Arts Ensemble Theatre. For tickets visit: http://rochesterfringe.com
